Sarah Mak is the co-founder and CEO of Folktale, a purpose-driven technology platform transforming how organizations measure, evaluate, and communicate impact through authentic video storytelling. With a background in public health, psychology, and international development, Sarah has worked with the World Health Organization and led fieldwork across the Asia-Pacific, including malaria prevention in the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.
Combining her expertise in global development with award-winning storytelling, Sarah has produced hundreds of hours of factual content for national and global brands—bridging creativity, systems thinking, and social impact.
Beyond Folktale, she co-founded TheStoryBoxes, a human-centered storytelling agency, and Poplabs, a creative incubator for mission-driven ventures.
