In a significant step towards addressing conflicts in Nigeria’s livestock industry, Credo Advisory served as the media partner for a high-level stakeholder workshop organised by the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) program and the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development (FMLD).
The workshop, held on March 6, 2025, in Abuja, brought together representatives from government ministries, peace commissions, civil society, and international development partners to validate the peacebuilding, security and social cohesion pillar of the FMLD’s Five-Year Strategic Plan.
As media partner, Credo Advisory provided comprehensive communications support, including social media coverage, media relations services, and multimedia storytelling. These efforts enhanced SPRiNG’s visibility and fostered a deeper understanding of the critical role of inclusive and sustainable peacebuilding in Nigeria.
“Effective communication is crucial in advancing peace and resilience efforts. By strategically amplifying discussions from this workshop, we are driving engagement and inspiring action toward sustainable conflict resolution,” said Sumayyah Ibrahim, Communications Specialist at Credo Advisory.
The workshop marked a significant step in aligning government policies with practical conflict resolution strategies. The insights gathered will contribute to the effective implementation of FMLD’s Five-Year Strategic Plan and the broader 10-Year National Livestock Development Plan.
Credo Advisory remains committed to supporting meaningful dialogue and policy-driven solutions that promote peace and development.
