Credo Advisory attended the 2025 Global Communications Alliance (GCA) Conference, held from June 4 – 6 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The conference convened leaders from independent communications agencies in over 30 countries to exchange insights, explore emerging trends, and strengthen the Alliance’s shared commitment to purpose-led, locally grounded communications.
Hosted by GCA member Bijl PR, a public relations agency that builds, maintains and strengthens its clients’ reputations. The conference offered a dynamic platform for engaging discussions on the role of communications in a rapidly changing world. Sessions focused on critical themes, including tackling polarisation through trust-based messaging, integrating ethical AI into storytelling, leveraging data to build persuasive narratives, and advancing socially impactful and emotionally resonant campaigns.
Credo served as co-chair of the GCA from June 2024 to June 2025, alongside Agenda, a leading communications consultancy firm in the United States. During the tenure, Credo supported efforts to deepen cross-border collaboration, expand shared learning across agencies, and promote best practices in communications strategy and innovation. At the conference, Credo formally handed over the co-chair leadership to PLMR (UK) and navos (Germany), who will lead the alliance into its next impact phase. Both firms have impacted the energy and political communications in their respective regions.
The handover to PLMR and navos marks an exciting transition for the Alliance. Both agencies bring deep expertise and a shared commitment to ethical, impactful communication, and Credo is confident in their leadership moving forward.
“The GCA represents the power of independent agencies working together to solve complex challenges across borders,” said Grace Alegeh, Partner at Credo Advisory. “Our co-chair experience has strengthened our commitment to locally led solutions with global relevance. We are proud of our progress and confident that PLMR and navos will continue to build on that momentum.”
The Global Communications Alliance is a network of leading independent agencies united by a shared mission: to deliver purpose-led, culturally attuned communications that solve real-world challenges. The GCA spans North America, the UK, Europe, South America, Africa, Australia, and India.
