Capacity Building Workshop at the Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism

Credo Advisory provided capacity building to the Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism (PTCIJ) on Monitoring, Evaluating and Communicating Impact at their end of year retreat. The retreat held on December 16th, 2018.

The capacity building workshop was an interactive session on positioning PTCIJ as an internationally recognised centre for investigative journalism by amplifying PTCIJ success stories, platforms and activities. Participants included the Managing Director, Project Managers and Program Officers of PTCIJ.

During the workshop, Credo Advisory CEO, Mrs. Awele Okigbo explained the process of categorising key program partners and influencers using a stakeholder mapping quadrant to ascertain requisite communication efforts for identified target audience. She also emphasized the need to leverage strategic communications to promote and create awareness on PTCIJs projects and activities.

PTCIJ, a subsidiary of Premium Times, leads in mapping the frontiers of data journalism and fashioning out civic technologies to enhance the media enterprise and promote an accountable society. With informed social responsibility projects, including “Udeme” “Dubawa” “Press Attack Tracker” etc. PTCIJ plays a key role in articulating issues pertaining to the challenges of the media, and how to resolve them.
