Credo Advisory inducted into Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Goalkeepers Community

The CEO of Credo Advisory, Awele Okigbo represented the firm at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Goalkeepers Award in New York City. The two-day event from September 20 – 22, 2022 was a convergence of nominated changemakers from all over the world who are committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through their work in health, public policy, advocacy, research, science, communications, and more.

Notable speakers and participants included Bill Gates, Melinda French-Gates, Malala Yousafzai, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Prime Ministers of Spain, Barbados, and Niger, Angelina Jolie, and several dignitaries and personalities from various countries.

Goalkeepers Global Goals Awards were given to four notable changemakers for the impact of their work in making the world a better place. Award recipients included Ursula von der Leyen (President of the European Commission) and Dr. Radhika Batra (Co-founder of Every Infant Matters). Other event highlights included panel discussions about misinformation, food security, gender equality and more.
