Identifying Solutions to Global Health Challenges

Credo Advisory attended the Foreign Policy Global Health Forum on June 13, 2023, in Washington, D.C. The forum hosted global health practitioners and experts to address common global health challenges, such as strengthening health systems for pandemic preparedness.

The forum featured 14 speakers from the global health community with in-person and virtual participants from different continents. Panelists included representatives from the Global Fund, One Campaign, the World Bank, FP2030, and the USAID’s President’s Malaria Initiative. The discussions featured subject matter experts in women’s health, malaria eradication, environmental health solutions, global health solutions, and strengthening healthcare systems.

Foreign Policy’s Global Health Forum 2023 was another opportunity for Credo Advisory to engage and network with key actors in global health as well as determine how communications and engagement must be incorporated in all solutions.

“These call-to-actions are unattainable without engagement and communications across the global health community, from the national to the grassroots level. Health systems cannot be designed in a vacuum. Localization should be built into the global health strategy in partnership with civil society, community mobilizers, healthcare providers, the media, and other essential health ecosystem stakeholders.” Awele Okigbo, Credo Founder/CEO.

As Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation #Goalkeepers, Credo Advisory remains committed to promoting equitable, efficient, and effective healthcare systems through health and behavior change communications interventions in Africa. We thank Foreign Policy for providing this valuable opportunity to discuss sustainable solutions in global health.
