Milestone Power Sector Gender Workshop

Credo Advisory CEO provided program design support and facilitation for the first ever USAID Nigeria Power Sector Program (NPSP) and Rural Electrification Agency (REA) power sector gender workshop in Abuja on February 5th, 2019.

Themed “Amplifying Gender in the Energy Sector” the workshop objectives were to better understand the challenges faced toward increased female participation in the power sector as well as, to identify gaps and actionable solutions to secure stronger stakeholder-ship by women.

As the workshop moderator, Mrs. Awele Okigbo expressed the need to make gender mainstreaming a business priority in the Nigeria energy sector.
