Bayero University, Kano, now hosts the largest off grid solar hybrid power plant in Africa, under the Rural Electrification Agency’s Energizing Education Programme (EEP). This project, was commissioned on September 3, 2019 by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, GCON.

The press release communicated the impact of the 7.1MW power plant to the quality of education, teaching, research and health services as well as the government’s commitment to providing clean, safe and reliable electricity.
Following the event, Credo Advisory assisted with the implementation of the social media plan by developing post event e-flyers that portrayed impact photos, testimonials and event highlights.
