Credo Advisory co-facilitated a training workshop for electricity consumers in collaboration with Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company and Nextier Power; a public advisory firm working to improve electricity access in Nigeria. The workshop held on October 12th, 2018 in Kaduna State.
The training objectives were to:
- Sensitize electricity consumers about the power value chain.
- Educate electricity consumers about their rights and responsibilities.
- Create a platform for electricity consumers to express their grievances and have them addressed by DisCo officials.
The training was facilitated by Aisha Oiza Zubairu, Communications Analyst – Credo Advisory, Osasu Eghobamien, Senior Analyst – Nextier Power and Chinedu Onyegbula, Independent Power Consultant – Nextier Power. Participants at the training included the Head, Customer Service Unit, Customer Service Officers and electricity consumers of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company.
